Carpet Removed Due To Water Loss
Our SERVPRO of Northwest Columbus mitigation team responded to an emergency service water loss at a local Columbus church. This water loss was due to a sump pump failure, causing water to flow out into the utility room and common area room. Our team always tries to restore before replacing in any scenario. Equipment was set up in effort to dry out the carpet without having to remove it. After monitoring the carpet for 48 hours with it not drying as efficiently as it should be. The carpet then had to be removed to ensure the sub-flooring would dry completely.
