Hot Water Tank Causes Water Damage

SERVPRO of Northwest Columbus was called out to this Columbus home for water damage caused by a leaking hot water tank heater. This leak caused damage to the basement carpet and drywall. Our mitigation team responded right away and started performing emergency services upon arriving at this customer's home. Due to the extensive water damage, our team had to removed the carpet pad, remove the baseboards and drill holes to properly ensure that the basement was going to dry out. This basement was monitored over the course of a week, once the carpet and drywall was dried, we were able to remove the equipment.
